Marina Office
The marina office is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. During the summer months, the office is open from 0800hrs until 2000hrs. During the winter months, the office is usually open from 0800hrs until 1800hrs.

Should the marina staff be out checking boats, they can be contacted on VHF channel 80, or on +44 (0)1983 293 983 with an automatic diversion to a mobile telephone.

Toilets & Showers
The new washroom facilities at East Cowes are of the highest standard. They are located in the facilities building either side of the marina office. Here you will also find a room dedicated to the disabled. They can be accessed by either the berth holder's proximity fob, or by keying the security code. If you are visiting, this number will be issued by staff on arrival. The washrooms are cleaned 2-3 times daily. Please do not use your boats' sea toilet in the marina.

Security
Maintaining the security of the marina site is a primary aim. An electronic proximity card or key fob is issued to permanent berth holders giving access to the pontoons and washroom facilities. There are also security gates at each entry point to the marina accessed via an intercom system and a coded key pad. The entire marina, gates & car park areas are monitored by a comprehensive CCTV system, which will digitally record movements both on and off the water 24hrs a day, 365 days a year.

Mail
We will hold incoming mail for your collection, if appropriately addressed to include your boat name. (This will be kept for a maximum of 45 days only). We will also accept stamped outgoing mail.

Weather Information
Weather reports are posted on notice boards around the marina and in the reception lobby. A Met office forecast, with synoptic charts , is available by following the link from this website.

Trolleys
Trolleys are available from the trolley area, adjacent to the marquee near the basin access brow. A £1 or €1 deposit is required to unlock a trolley. If you have heavy or awkward loads, please ask a member of staff for assistance and they will be happy to help. Should a trolley accidentally fall into the water, please do notify a member of the team – they will be only too happy to recover it and refund your £1.

Electricity
All berths are supplied with electrical points. Currently there are both metered and card operated bollards. The metered supplies are read on a regular basis and berth holders are invoiced quarterly. Card operated supplies can be activated by purchasing a card from the marina office. Your allocated electric socket can be locked closed when not in use. The plug can also be locked in place.

Water
The water supplies on the pontoons are potable and are regularly inspected for quality.

Gas
Supplies of bottled gas are available from the on-site chandlers during normal office hours and from the marina office at other times. The fuel barge on the river above the chain ferry on the west bank, also supplies Calor gas.

Fuel
Fuel is available from the fuel barge of Marine Support and Towage, located on the west side of the river just south of the chain ferry.

Internet
Wireless Broadband Internet Access is available throughout all Dean & Reddyhoff Marinas to any boat whilst in the marina. You can obtain details of this service at the marina office.

Ice
Ice is available from the marina office at £1.50 per bag.

Laundry
The new facilities building includes a laundry complete with washer, drier and Belfast sink. Washing powder is available from the marina office.

Telephone and Fax
There is a public telephone located in the entrance lobby of the new marina building, which takes 10p to £1 coins. We accept incoming faxes for a small donation to the RNLI. Our fax number is 01983 299276. Should you wish to send a fax, please ask the office staff for charges.

Rubbish and Waste Oil
We have two locations within the marina for disposing of domestic refuse; in the compound in the centre of the car park or in the waste containers on the pontoons at the foot of the Northern access bridge, close to the visitor area. There is a large waste oil tank for use by you or your contractor, located at the back of the long-term car park next to the commercial building.

Customs
If you are departing to or arriving from any non-EU country, (this includes the Channel Islands) a Customs form C1331 must be completed. These forms are available from the marina office.

East Cowes/West Cowes Chain Ferry
This service is free to foot passengers and cyclists. Monday to Saturday 05:00hrs until Midnight Sunday 06:35hrs until Midnight. (The last ferry from the west side is at 23:50 and it's a long walk or a very expensive taxi ride back to the marina via Newport). Services are extended during Cowes Week. For further information call the Ferry Manager on (01983) 293041.

Advanced Bookings
There are a number of visitor berths that may be pre-booked in advance on a first come first served basis. Please call the office as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Assuming there is still availability; bookings will be taken up until noon on Thursday for the forthcoming weekend.

Arrival Procedure
Visitors are requested to call the Marina on VHF channel 80 or phone 01983 293 983 prior to arrival. Our call sign is: EAST COWES MARINA, not to be confused with Cowes Yacht Haven which is on the west side of the river mouth. Having secured your vessel to the allocated pontoon, all skippers should report to the marina office as soon as possible.

And finally...
The marina staff are here to help. If there is anything you think we can do to improve our service, please let us know. We thrive on your feedback and it will always be well received.
